Councillors at yesterday's session, expressed consent to donate the long-term lease of one of the most important monuments in Jelenia Gora. Doubts, however, do not run out.

Council this term for the medieval Tower Grodzka, which three years has no idea, discussed for the first time. However, the previous council last fall and discussed the matter twice a tower. Once I even agreed to its long-term lease, but at the next meeting, withdrew from the agreement at the request of former President Hubert Papaya.
Hubert Papaj now is deputy president of Martin's intricate, which again came into the deliberations of the request to be allowed to lease monument many years (maximum 20). Bozena Wachowicz-Makieła (Total for Jelenia Gora) was surprised why the fall is not taken adequate resolution. - Through the tower stands undeveloped and generates costs, and so in November could have a new owner - said the councilor. Vice President Sophia Chernov stressed that there is still a very strong interest in the tower (it hangs on the banner of the possibility of development), so this issue must be urgently resolved in the end. Also assured that this government has no intention to sell the monument.
Councilman Oliver Kubicki (Law and Justice Party) wanted to make sure that the Tower will not Grodzka dominant commercial activity. - You can entertain fears that the creation of yet another landmark bank, which in the center of Jelenia Gora is already plenty and that make the downtown after hours. George Lenard, the chairman of the city, he stressed that the potential tenant is primarily to provide "culture-" the use of the tower, but commercial activity is not excluded. Local Government most like to see the monument, tourist information, a gallery, maybe a cafe or bar [...].
